About the Organization
The Association of College Educators - Deaf and Hard of Hearing (ACE-DHH) is a professional organization dedicated to advancing the preparation of teachers and professionals in deaf education.
ACE-DHH members are primarily college and university faculty who prepare future professionals and teachers of the deaf, along with researchers, doctoral students, educational interpreters, administrators, PK-12 teachers, and other professionals engaged in deaf education. Members work across a range of settings, including higher education institutions, schools for the deaf, and educational programs serving Deaf and Hard of Hearing students. Through their work, they contribute to the development of research, instructional approaches, and professional standards that shape the field.
ACE-DHH serves as a national forum for collaboration and exchange. The annual conference provides opportunities for members to present research, share instructional practices, engage in dialogue, and build professional connections.
